We're ALL about the details!

D.E.T.A.I.L.S.

People always ask us, "how did you come up with that?!?" AND our answer is always the same, it's all in the details. Most people are under the misconception that in order to have a fabulous event, you need to first come up with a fabulous theme. On the contrary, most of our most amazing work has began with a tiny detail inspiration. It could be a color from a straw, a texture from a linen, a shape from a picture that just sparks a million more tiny ideas that eventually turn out to be an unusually unique theme. So in conclusion ... DETAILS matter!

Here are some pictures to get your creative juices going! :)

DIY Project

For virtually every single event we cover, we end up working on our own DIY projects to enhance the theme for our client. So naturally when we came across this DIY post, we had to share.

These ice cream cones are absolutely adorable and fairly easy to make. You can also use them afterward to decorate a child's room or closet.

So, so, so cute!

You're Never Too Old For The Carnival

I don't know about you, but as a kid one of my most sought after treats at any carnival was COTTON CANDY! It was something about the texture, color and of course taste that made my world all that more pleasant. Now that I'm a tad bit older and acquired a more sophisticated taste, I can't imagine anything better than combing my adulthood with the wonderful memories of my childhood.

See below for one of my favorite Cotton Candy Martini Recipes! Enjoy :)

    • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
    • 1/2 ounce x-rated fusion liqueur
    • 1 ounce cranberry juice
    • pink cotton candy

    Directions:

    1. Put the cotton candy in the martini glass.
    2. Put the rest of the ingredients in a shaker and shake well.
    3. Pour cocktail over the cotton candy, it dissolves instantly so present the glass before pouring.
    4.

Yummy Things Come In Small Packages

Desserts In Jars

We recently did a "Baked With Love" bridal shower theme and we used our favorite bakers (Bay-Bee Cakes) for some awesome cake shots. We've loved the idea since we first laid eyes on them because they are not only a perfect way to display a yummy treat, but also the absolute best way to have your cake and eat it too!

Since discovering how popular these lil guys are becoming, I went ahead and bought Shaina Olmanson's book "Desserts In Jars."

I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to be an elaborate host. Not only will you find mouth-watering recipes in here, but she also has the cutest and most modern ways of displaying your treats. With all that being said, take a look below at some of my favorites! Enjoy! :)

Summa Summa Time

Ice Cream Parlor Insanity

Ever since we started Frosted, we've been dying to do a ice cream parlor themed event. Unfortunately, we haven't quite had the opportunity yet, but we will and when we do it's going to look as good as some of our inspirations below!

Enjoy!

For All The Papa Bears

It's Wedding Season and I wanted to post about a topic that I personally feel doesn't get enough hype during weddings and that is ... all the father's of the brides of whom (in most cases) have watched their little girls turn into beautiful women and now have to deal with the bitter sweet feelings of handing her over to a deserving man.

Here's to all the amazing men who've helped mold a women's morals, values and criteria for a potential life partner.
